All Maize Meeting attendees are encouraged to arrive in Saint-Malo on March 21st due to the possible train strike on March 22nd, or make their trip on the 22nd independent from trains, including subway.

You are invited to attend the 60th Annual Maize Genetics Conference. The Conference will be held March 22-25, 2018, at the Palais du Grand Large of Saint-Malo, France.

The Conference will open with a Thursday evening meal, March 22 and close at noon Sunday, March 25.

Join researchers in Saint-Malo, to:

  • Listen to invited talks in genetics and plant biology given by internationally renowned scientists
  • Learn the most current scientific and technical advances in maize genetics
  • Participate in sessions with broad subject areas to stimulate new ideas that you can share with your lab

The McClintock Prize awardee:

Dr. Rob Martienssen of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and the 2018 McClintock Prize awardee, will present his work at this year's Maize Genetics Conference. Additionally, the MGEC will be presenting an early career, mid-career, and Emerson award.
