Genotype Search
This Genotype search allows you to get a list of the SNPs and indels from the maize inbreds (here called "taxa") used in each of the Datasets provided here. This search is a web portal to the genotype tools and data developed at Panzea, and is available directly from Panzea here: Panzea Genotype Search.

How to use:
To see a list of inbreds used in each data set: Select a dataset, and press submit at the bottom of the page, then select "List all taxa" on the "taxa" line. In this tool, "Taxa" means "Zea mays inbred or line".
To get a list of all SNPs and Indels found in a single or many maize lines (taxa) in a given experiment:
(1) Choose a diversity dataset (e.g. HapMapv2), and press submit at the bottom of the page.
(2) At the top of the new page on the "Selected Dataset" line, press the 'Query Genotyping Data' button.
(3) Select the chromosome or region of the genome, list the inbred(s) (taxa) you are interested in (from the list on the "all taxa in dataset" link), and select the Results and Output format. Then click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.
(4) The tool returns the SNPs and indels for each taxa in the selected region of the genome.

Enabling Panzea Genotype Searches
In order for Panzea's Genoytpe Search or GBS Genotype Search to work, your browser settings must enable third party cookies. These are disabled by default in Safari, and may be disabled in other browsers depending on your security settings. Below we explain how to temporarily enable third party cookies in Safari 8.0.4. These can be enabled in other browsers by performing the analogous actions.

How to (temporarily) enable third party cookies in Safari 8.0.4
1. Click on "Safari|Preferences..."
2. Navigate to the "Privacy" tab.
3. Under "Cookies and website data:" click on "Always allow".
4. Perform your Panzea Genotype or GBS Genotype Search.
5. When you are finished, go back to "Preferences" and restore the previous privacy setting (e.g., "Allow from websites I visit").
